Step By Step Process For Hiring Sales People

 

1. Application
  • Have an application page where they need to fill in question about thier work history – see our example here.
  • IMPORTANT: Please DO NOT fill in/submit this form as a test as our team would start doing a lot of work to track you and that would be a waste of our resources. This is to share an example with you only. If we get fake forms, we will remove the link.

 

2. DISC Assessment
  • Automatically set an automation so that when you get the application, you send them an email asking them to send you their DISC assessment and a 1 minute video sharing why they are the best choice for your team.
  • Here is a link they can use for the DISC assessment.

 

3. Invites to Interview
  • If their video is strong, invite them to a screening interview.
  • The template document with specific questions to ask them is in the MM Hiring and Team Structure folder. IF Toyin and yourself have determined that your business is at this stage, you can request it from the Ops team.

 

4. Train Them
  • If that interview is good (we look for SMART, HEART CENTRED, HUNGRY), pull them into “Training”.
  • Have them sign an NDA (contract) with a confidentiality clause. AFTER signing…
  • Give them a minimum of 4 sample calls and your script to train with for 1 week.
  • MAKE SURE to remove any client credit card information from those sample calls.

 

5. Book a Mock Call
  • Then have them book a mock call with your team to see how good they do.
  • This can be completed by yourself or someone on your team who knows how a sales call should feel.
  • You are looking for the same thing – strong frame, able to do each part of the call.

 

6. Let them In
  • If they pass this stage, you can pull them into your team.
  • Get them set up administratively (2 days)
  • How to make a payment
  • How to access your full training portal etc.

 

7. Get Them On Calls
  • 3 calls a day to start
  • 5 calls a day as soon as yet get someone to enroll/ or down a deposit/ a full condition (they got a yes).

 

IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER:
You WILL figure it out and the system will get better and better with each hire so do not try to be perfect. Simply start hiring and you will improve based on your experience.
